Dear all,  this is what we did yesterday: - we listened to a song "Somewhere only we know" by Keane - we checked our homework - we did exercises 1 and 2 on page 36 - We did a speaking exercise, a dialogue Your homework: pages 36 and 37 exercises 5 and 6 NOTICE: next Monday I'll give you a MINI MOCK EXAM on UNIT 1. Plus, you need to know that the first session of the continuous assessment will be on the week of 22nd January.  If you don't have any plans for this weekend, why not go to the following event? We worked on narrative tenses yesterday. We looked at the simple past, past continuous, past perfect and used to. We used this mystery story  : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hza_paZrYw0 We completed the rules for these tenses. Exercise 4 page 26 We listened to two stories (The Strange Object on the Hill and Noises in the Night) and retold them using narrative tenses correctly. We told our own mystery stories. We watched a video and predicted the ending Your homework: read the grammar on page 130 (Narrative forms) and do exercises 3, 4 and 5 on page 131
