Dear all,

this is what we did yesterday:

- we checked our homework

- we played a game to guess the sport. We had to ask questions

- we did exercises 8 to 13 on pages 34 and 35 in your books

- we did a speaking exercise using present perfect or past simple

YOUR HOMEWORK: 

- page 35 exercise 14

- page 133 exercises 1 and 2

Next Tuesday I'll give you a test on Unit 1 

Your exam for the continuous assessment will take place on the week on the 22nd January

And a friendly reminder: Remember how important it is to attend lessons. Attendance and participation in class is a part of your continuous assessment

 This is what we did yesterday: - we looked at different works of art and chose the best one for the reception of several buildings - we checked our homework - we did two more exercises on defining and non-defining relative clauses - we took a listening exercise on museums - we brainstormed vocabulary for different topics (the environment, shopping and spending habits, money, work),we formed some questions and then did our monologues Your homework: - I gave you two reading exercises with the key to practice for the exam
