 Dear all,

this is what we did yesterday in class.

- We checked our homework: the reading text to practice for the exam: How to be more stylish. KEY: 1C, 2B, 3D, 4L, 5A, 6J, 7G, 8K

- We watched a video and answered these questions:

- what does the old lady complain about?

- What form of compensation does she ask for? 

- According to the manager, who does the old lady need to talk to in order to get a compensation?

- Do you find the video funny? Do you think this kind of humour is old-fashioned / politically-incorrect?


 - we checked exercises 5, 6 and 7- page 103 

- we did exercise 5 on page 105

- we did exercises 7, 9 and 12 on page 106

- we did exercise 1 on page 145

HOMEWORK: 

- page 145 exercises 2 and 3

- Write an email of complaint pretending you are the old woman in the video. Follow the characteristics, vocabulary, formal linkers and layout of emails of complaint (pages 103 and 152)
